EmTé inc.
Privacy Policy
EmTé inc. is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to it, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights available to you.
Person in charge of personal information protection
EmTé inc. has designated a person in charge of personal information protection. You may contact them for any question regarding this policy or to exercise your rights:
Email: support@emte.ca · Address: 204 Saint-Sacrement Street, Suite 300, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 1W8.
Information we collect
When you fill out our form, we collect the information you provide: name, work email, company name, number of employees, main need, current tools (optional), timeline and message (optional). We do not ask for a phone number.
We may also record the source of your visit and campaign parameters (UTM) to understand how you found us. For the site to operate, minimal technical data may be processed (server logs, IP address sent by your browser, device type). Your language preference is stored locally in your browser.
Purposes and consent
The information collected is used solely to handle your request, schedule a discovery call and follow up on our business relationship. By submitting the form, you consent to this processing. We never sell or rent your information to third parties, and we do not add you to a newsletter without a separate, optional choice.
Hosting, subprocessors and CRM
To provide our services, we rely on specialized providers (notably for site hosting and delivery, email routing and business email). When a CRM or automations are set up for a client, proven third-party technologies may be used, including HighLevel depending on the situation.
Some of these providers may process or store data outside Quebec. We share the strict minimum of information with them, require contractual confidentiality and security safeguards, and carry out the assessment required by section 17 of Law 25 before any transfer of personal information outside Quebec. We do not claim that all data resides in Canada: residency and processing terms are specified and documented within each engagement.
Cookies and audience measurement
This site uses no advertising cookies or third-party profiling trackers. We use a privacy-friendly audience measurement, without advertising cookies, used only to understand overall site traffic in aggregate.
Retention and destruction
We keep your information only as long as necessary to respond to your request and, where applicable, for the duration of our business relationship, after which we securely destroy or anonymize it.
Security
We apply reasonable security measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), security headers, least-privilege access, individual accounts, access logging and data minimization. During engagements, we never use shared passwords and favour guest access with minimal, revocable permissions.
Automated decisions
This site makes no automated decisions about you. When a solution we deploy for a client relies on automated decision-making based on personal information, we ensure transparency and inform the individuals concerned, in accordance with Law 25.
Your rights
You may request access to your information, its correction, its portability, withdraw your consent or request its deletion by writing to support@emte.ca. If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Privacy incidents
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we take reasonable steps to reduce its consequences, keep a register and notify the individuals concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by Law 25.
